Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

JunkFoodDiets.com is a free fast-food meal planning tool. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Meal planner data. There are no accounts on this site. The meals you build (restaurants and items selected, calorie goal) are stored only in your own browser's local storage so your meal persists between visits. We never see or receive this data on our servers.

Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, general location, device type). This is aggregated and not tied to your name.

Emailing a Meal

If you use "Email This Meal," the address you enter is used only to send that one email and is not stored or added to any mailing list. If you send to yourself, your address is remembered in your own browser (local storage) so you do not have to retype it; you can clear it by clearing your browser data. To prevent abuse we keep a short-lived, anonymized count of emails sent from each connection for 24 hours.

Advertising

We display ads, including through Google AdSense and direct partner banners. Google and our ad partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn more and opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Cookies

We use cookies for Google Analytics and for ad serving. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time.

Children's Privacy

This Site is a general-audience nutrition tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
